Act!on For A Cause Kickoff

We attended the Kickoff Ceremony for Act!on For A Cause on the 23rd of November, 2019. Guest speaker, Mr. Mark Cheng, European Managing Director of Ashoka advised the Act!on For A Cause teams to “try first, start small, reflect about what can be better and do it again in a better way”. Next, we heard from an old Act!on For A Cause group and their mentor, Mrs. Diana Footitt. They talked about their personal experience as a part of the programme, especially getting to know each other better and later on, working on the project alongside their academic commitments. We were also able to meet our mentors for the first time - you can see a picture of us below!
